Michaela is a creative & art director with a strong foundation in both traditional and digital design. She has spent 13 years developing, scaling and elevating brands and brand experiences. She has worked across multiple industries, both in-house as part of large scale creative teams, and as an individual operating her own creative studio. No matter the size or scale of a client, she is always delivering thoughtful, strategic creative that resonates.
An early love of art and design led Michaela to pursue a BAH in Art History from Queens University and later an AAS degree in graphic design from Parsons the New School. Her work is shaped by a deep understanding of history, cultural context and aesthetic theory with precise creative execution.
Michaela is an excellent collaborator, and decisive, confident leader. She is deeply empathetic and understands that the success of creative work requires the ability to connect with people on an emotional level.
Michaela has worked in both New York and Los Angeles but is currently based in her hometown of Toronto with her husband, two children and Aussiedoodle.
